No-Fuss Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

You fancy, huh?

Nah.

Chocolate dipped strawberries are impressive treats, but a total cinch to make!  Though the topping varieties are endless: skor bits, fairy dust and rainbow drizzles, this 3-ingredient recipe is one for the lazy chocolate purist.

Let’s go:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside a separate bowl for the cacao powder.
  2. Wash and totally dry the strawberries.
  3. Microwave the chocolate chips for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave another 30 seconds until fully melted.
  4. Holding a strawberry by the stem (or using a skewer) dip and twirl the IMG_0782strawberry in the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl. Roll the dipped strawberry around in the cacao powder, then place onto the parchment paper. Repeat.
  5. Refrigerate the strawberries for at least 20 minutes for the chocolate to set.

No time? No cacao powder? No problem. Here’s a batch that’s simply chocolate-dipped, fondue style and ready to eat without cooling :).
