Overnight Oats: Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Heaven

Overnight oats are perfect for people that don’t have time in the morning. And that means everyone, right? They are virtually effortless, mixing a few ingredients the night before, and voila: a delicious dessert breakfast pudding for you the next morning. IMG_20140328_135803

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana – YUM!

As my base, I use Scotch Oats for a creamier texture compared to other oats, and Chia seeds to bind everything together.

A great source of protein, fibre, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids for long-lasting fuel and bone health.

Overnight Chocolate PB Banana Oatmeal

  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup scotch oats
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • honey /sweetener of choice to taste
  • pinch of salt
  • Toppings: banana, cacao nibs

Let’s go

  1. In a mason jar or your yogurt tub, stir everything together and refrigerate overnight
  2. Top with banana and cacao nibs
  3. Enjoy!
